Congratulations to Elgin High School who won the UNISON Sports Cup back in June at the inter-schools cricket competition. Well done to the other teams taking part from Milnes High School and Forres Academy. Elgin High School ‘s success didn’t stop there as they went on to win the National event at Perth. Well done to all involved!

The Annual General Meeting of Moray UNISON was held at the Elgin City Football Club on 27th February, 2014.
The same format was employed as last year with a sit down meal followed by tea and coffee. Unfortunately, we had no music this year and our numbers were also down on 2013. Last year the Moray Council cuts were just beginning to bite which may have increased the numbers.
The meeting was chaired by our new Chair, Seonaid Norrie, replacing Steve Clegg who has resigned from the committee. Steve has been with us for many years and we will miss his input. The meeting approved the Branch Accounts and elected Branch Officers for 2014:
