It's been while since I've had time to bring you an update as I've been rushed off my feet with Designing Better Services and all the other reviews and re-structurings in the offing.
By now lots of UNISON members in the Council will have started the time recording exercise that's part of DBS. If there are any problems with this, bring them to the attention of the relevant people. DBS is going to affect the working lives of many of our members and all parts of it should be taken seriously or they may come back to bite us. Major decisions about the future shape of the Council, staff and services, will be taken on the basis of the information being collected now through time recording and various other processes.
