The TUC today released figures relating to candidates per job vacancy which reveal a big increase in the ratio. In Scotland there's an average of 10 Job Seeker Allowance candidates per job - the UK average is 20. This is a worrying trend in a week when the unemployment figure is likely to reach 2 million.
I don't think these people will be spending out of the recession!
